The US army obliterated a ship accused of ferrying medicine within the japanese Pacific Ocean on Saturday — killing three males within the fourth strike of the week.
A wild video posted by the US Southern Command on social media confirmed the second the army carried out the deadly kinetic strike and exploded the vessel into a large fireball.
The boat was allegedly transiting alongside “identified narco-trafficking routes within the Jap Pacific,” and operated by a “Designated Terrorist Group,” the Southern Command mentioned in a press release.
Three males have been killed within the operation, army officers mentioned. The assault marked the fourth blast concentrating on suspected drug smugglers this week, following strikes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Gen. Francis L. Donovan, the highest US commander in Latin America, directed the strike, authorities added.
The assault raised the dying toll of the US army’s monthslong marketing campaign towards alleged drug smuggling boats within the Caribbean and japanese Pacific to 205.

The assaults started in September because the US constructed up a large army presence within the area forward of the January raid that captured now-ousted Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro.
No US army members have been harmed in Saturday’s operation, officers confirmed.
