Good Will Warren
Regardless of saying his “stuff wasn’t as sharp” later in his outing as he needed, Will Warren threw 4 stable innings and gave up simply an unearned run in a 50-pitch outing.
No-show on ‘O’
The Yankees left most of their predominant gamers — those who aren’t within the WBC — again in Tampa.
However the lineup that confronted the Nationals didn’t impress, placing up simply three hits — all singles.
Caught my eye
Washington right-hander Josiah Grey missed all of final season after July 2024 Tommy John surgical procedure.
The New Rochelle native and Yankees fan seems to be all the way in which again, with three scoreless innings in opposition to the Yankees.
