Israel threatens to target Khamenei’s successor as Iran says new leader chosen

Khamenei was killed in a bombing raid final week after the U.S. and Israel focused his compound within the Iranian capital of Tehran. Khamenei’s demise ended his virtually 37-year rule as supreme chief.

Israel justified the assaults as a preemptive strike to guard itself. U.S. President Donald Trump, after days of combined indicators from the White Home on the justifications and goals of the struggle, stated on Friday that the final objective is “unconditional give up” by the Islamic Republic’s leaders.
