The U.S. Division of Transportation is launching what it is calling a “civility marketing campaign” to advertise good habits on flights and at airports, because the busy vacation journey season will get underway. The division is naming the marketing campaign “The Golden Age of Journey Begins with You” and introduced the hassle in a press launch final week.
The DOT shared a minute-and-a-half video that begins with photos of airline vacationers of many years previous, set to Frank Sinatra’s “Come Fly With Me.” The video then shifts abruptly to tense music and video clips of naked ft swiping on an in-flight monitor after which a collection of brawls on flights.
Secretary Sean Duffy then poses 5 questions he says each air traveler ought to ask themselves this vacation season. The questions embody: Are you serving to a pregnant girl put her bag within the overhead bin; are you dressing with respect; and are you saying thanks to your flight attendants and pilots.
