Prince Andrew may probably face a personal prosecution because the disgraced royal continues to face intense scrutiny because of his former friendship with paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Marketing campaign group Republic mentioned on Thursday they’d instructed attorneys to research the disgraced royal over allegations of sexual assault, corruption and misconduct in public workplace.

It comes after accuser Virginia Giuffre mentioned she had been pressured to have intercourse with Andrew 3 times in her posthumous memoir No one’s Lady. Andrew strenuously denies all accusations.

Republic’s CEO, Graham Smith mentioned the teams resolution to start a personal prosecution was a “devastating indictment” on the UK’s prison justice system.

“I firmly imagine there’s robust sufficient proof to justify a critical investigation,” he mentioned. “The authorities and politicians seem to wish to look the opposite means, whereas minimising the accusations made in opposition to Andrew.”

On Wednesday, parliament’s spending watchdog wrote to the Crown Property to boost issues over the “worth for cash” of Prince Andrew’s dwelling preparations.

Stress has been mounting on the King’s brother to vacate the Royal Lodge amid persevering with furore over his“peppercorn” hire on the property.

On Wednesday, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) wrote to the Treasury and the Crown Property asking them to clarify the rationale behind the lease preparations.
