The pilot and passenger killed in a helicopter crash close to Paekākāriki Hill final week have been named.
They have been Cole Christopher Ritchie, 25, from Wharepapa South, and Joseph Mark Keeley, 54, from Tauhara.
The pair have been pest management contractors engaged on Transmission Gully.
Kāpiti Mana Space Commander Inspector Renée Perkins mentioned emergency companies, aviation authorities, native iwi and regional companions have labored carefully in extraordinarily difficult terrain.
The helicopter wreckage was eliminated on Friday.
Perkins mentioned police, Civil Aviation Authority and Sufferer Assist are supporting the households affected.
