Virginia emergency crews deployed to the Pentagon on Thursday morning for what authorities described as a “hazardous supplies incident.”

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed that “subtle programs” had “detected an air high quality concern necessitating precautionary measures till we decide its significance.”
“The Division is executing normal safety protocols, together with a shelter-in-place order for the affected space,” Parnell added, referring to the Protection Division. “Response groups are in place and able to help constructing occupants.”
In a submit on X, the Arlington County Fireplace Division stated emergency items, together with its hazardous supplies workforce, had been “working on the Pentagon in help of PFPA’s Hazmat Workforce throughout a hazardous supplies incident.”
