Afghanistan, Pakistan pledge to respect cease-fire after more than a week of deadly fighting

Afghanistan and Pakistan, embroiled in combating that has killed dozens of individuals and injured a whole lot, pledged on Sunday to respect a cease-fire.

The Taliban authorities’s chief spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, gave a optimistic response to the end result of the talks that passed off within the Qatari capital, Doha, a day earlier.

“Cross-border terrorism from Afghan territory will stop instantly,” Asif wrote. “Each nations will respect one another’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. A follow-up assembly between the delegations is scheduled to happen in Istanbul on October 25 to debate the issues intimately.”

Mujahid and Asif each thanked Qatar and Turkey for his or her function in facilitating the talks that led to the ceasefire.
