Sinclair Broadcast Group is ending its preemption of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Reside!”
The Maryland-based proprietor of a number of main ABC community associates stated Friday the late night time program will return to its airwaves instantly. The station group pulled Kimmel off the air Sept. 17 following a backlash over the host’s feedback associated to the killing of right-wing activist Charile Kirk.

Kimmel was pulled off the air by Sinclair and one other station group, Nexstar, the identical day Federal Communications Fee Chair Brendan Carr took purpose on the host’s Sept. 15 monologue, during which Kimmel stated MAGA Republicans had been utilizing Kirk’s demise to “rating political factors” and had been making an attempt to categorize capturing suspect Tyler Robinson as “something aside from considered one of them.”
