“The arrests we have now made relate to shoplifting and fraud issues totalling in extra of $20,000,” Detective Sergeant Mike Freeman, of the Christchurch Fraud Squad, mentioned in an announcement.
“A good portion {of electrical} gear stolen from business premises has been recovered.
“Our understanding is that this stuff have been stolen between 20 October and three November.”
