New US Trailer for ‘Eagles of the Republic’ Political Thriller from Egypt

“We’re the defend that protects the nation.” Cohen Media Group has posted their official US trailer for a movie referred to as Eagles of the Republic, the most recent movie by Egyptian-Swedish filmmaker – following his work on The Nile Hilton Incident, The Contractor, and Cairo Conspiracy. A love letter to Egyptian cinema, Eagles of the Republic is writer-director Tarik Saleh’s movie noir following Egypt’s most adored actor George Fahmy as he’s pressured to star in a movie commissioned by the best authorities. Fahmy reluctantly accepts the function and finds himself thrown into the interior circle of energy. Then like a moth drawn to the flame, he begins an affair with the mysterious spouse of the overall overseeing the movie. Starring Fares Fares as George, with Lyna Khoudri, Amr Waked, and Zineb Triki.
