Daniil Medvedev smashed his racquet to items in an epic courtside meltdown after shedding to Benjamin Bonzi of France within the first spherical of the US Open on Sunday (24 August).
Medvedev spent nearly a minute destroying his racquet after a troublesome loss that included a controversial first serve awarded to Bonzi earlier within the match.
Bonzi had simply missed first serve main 5-4 within the third set when a photographer left his place earlier than the Frenchman might hit his second.
