In what many could think about a real-life subject of desires — and derrieres — 13 Queenstown blokes have bared all in a brand new calendar, all proceeds of which is able to go to every of their chosen charities.
Dreamed up by Royalburn Station co-owner Nadia Lim, the concept could have been spawned by two of her feminine staffers a few years in the past throughout filming of the second season of Three’s Nadia’s Farm.
Discussing the station’s sunflower subject, Lim urged they go get their “bare selfies”, after they replied they thought they may do a unadorned calendar as a fundraiser.
Now they’ve.
The sunflower studs have been subsequently shoulder-tapped, cajoled and satisfied to strip down and present some severe generosity, snapped by 222 Photographic Studios’ Dan Childs in February.
The result’s a 13-month calendar elevating cash for charities similar to Central Otago Residing Choices, Diabetes NZ, Gumboot Friday, Salvation Military Queenstown Meals Financial institution, Otago Rural Assist Belief and the New Zealand Firefighters Welfare Society.
Elevating cash for the latter’s Mr March — aka Matt Delany — who’s one of many new Queenstown Airport rescue hearth recruits by day, and a Queenstown volunteer firefighter by night time. He was approached by Royalburn’s Jason Medina to take part and says he was “up for it right away”.
Nevertheless, he’s not 100% certain what he’ll be up for as soon as the calendar comes out, noting he’ll be fined by his co-workers only for having his identify within the newspaper — the punishment for being snapped in his birthday go well with is, as but, unknown.
