Former Assistant Police Commissioner Paul Basham has damaged his silence following the scathing report by the police watchdog.
The Unbiased Police Conduct Authority’s report, launched final month, discovered severe misconduct on the highest ranges of police over how they dealt with accusations of sexual offending by former Deputy Commissioner Jevon McSkimming.
The IPCA report really helpful employment investigations in opposition to three employees, Basham, Detective Superintendent Chris Web page, and Angela Brazier, the manager director of the Firearms Security Authority.
On Tuesday, Basham, who was Southern District Commander from 2017 to 2024, launched a press release by way of the police media staff.
