“Whenever you say ‘right here I’m, lord, use me,’ God will take you up on that. And he did with Charlie,” she mentioned, dabbing at her eyes with a tissue.

“Eleven days in the past, God accepted that whole give up from my husband after which known as him to his aspect,” she continued.

“On the afternoon of Sept. 10, I arrived at a Utah hospital to do the unthinkable: To look immediately at my husband’s murdered physique. I noticed the wound that ended his life, I felt every part you’ll anticipate to really feel. I felt shock, I felt horror and a stage of heartache that I didn’t even know existed,” she mentioned mournfully.

“However there was one thing else, too. Even in demise I may see the person that I really like. I may see the only grey hair on the aspect of his head, which I by no means instructed him about — now he is aware of, sorry child.”

She mentioned she noticed on his lips “the faintest smile,” which she mentioned “revealed an important mercy from God on this tragedy,” and mentioned at that second she realized he hadn’t suffered.
