The video posted on X (Previously Twitter) got here with the caption, “Shameful incident at Jabalpur, Railway Station. A passenger requested for samosas, however PhonePe did not pay and the practice began shifting. Official Assertion From the Railway

After the video sparked outrage and raised issues about passenger security on social media, West Central Railway CPRO Harshit Srivastava acknowledged the motion taken in opposition to the samosa vendor.

As per ANI, Srivastava stated, “The incident occurred on the night of seventeenth October. At Jabalpur station, a vendor snatched the watch of a passenger after he had bought it from him. Taking fast motion, the Railway Administration recognized the seller and he was arrested below the Railway Act and a case was registered. The license below which he labored is being cancelled. The seller has been recognized as Sandeep Gupta.”
