One person seriously hurt in assault

An individual has been hospitalised after a severe assault in Christchurch yesterday night.

Police responded to the incident about 6pm.

“One particular person on the deal with was transported to hospital in a severe situation, whereas one other was taken into custody,” a spokesperson mentioned.

A guard was in place at Ollivers Rd in a single day and a scene examination was carried out.

A 43-year-old man was charged with wounding with intent to trigger grievous bodily hurt and was attributable to seem in courtroom on Monday.
