Will Ferrell is the unlikely star of a brand new Skims marketing campaign — or fairly, his athlete alter ego is.
The 58-year-old Emmy winner stars as ageing professional golfer Lonnie Hawkins within the upcoming Netflix present “The Hawk,” and gamely stripped all the way down to his tighty whities in character to advertise his newest venture.
Skims’ Instagram account shared six pictures of Hawkins in his skivvies on Monday, together with the caption, “@LonnieTheHawk is aware of he’s nonetheless obtained it.” (The fictional golfer’s account has already racked up over 70,000 followers.)
Within the pictures, Ferrell’s character fashions the model’s males briefs together with a tank prime, tube socks and his signature “Hawk” visor and puka shell necklace.
Skims co-founder Kim Kardashian even narrated a corresponding video spot, by which Ferrell’s character hits the golf course in his skivvies.
“His physique says retire. His Skims say another spherical,” Kardashian deadpans, calling Skims “constructed for males who nonetheless know they’ve obtained it.”
