Snow Metropolis, Singapore’s first indoor snow centre, will shut on Sept 30 after 26 years, the Science Centre Board (SCB) mentioned in a media launch on Might 19.
The SCB added that the closure displays its dedication to “retaining its choices contemporary and related amid shifting customer pursuits and an evolving sights panorama,” whereas aligning with SCB’s science training mission and future plans.
Snow Metropolis’s workers will probably be supported carefully throughout this transition. SCB mentioned the attraction’s eight full-time staff have been provided redeployment alternatives throughout the organisation.

Situated in Jurong East, Snow Metropolis will maintain a public farewell marketing campaign referred to as One Final Snowfall forward of its closure.
