Indiana State Sen. Travis Holdman will lose in his Republican state Senate major, The Related Press has projected, to Blake Fiechter, a candidate endorsed by President Donald Trump to punish Holdman for his vote towards a redistricting plan pushed by the president final 12 months.
Holdman is amongst seven state senators up for reelection who defied Trump and who confronted major challengers endorsed by the president. Trump threatened even earlier than the vote to help major challengers to anybody who voted towards it.
