Police say they’re nearing the ultimate levels of the prison investigation into the primary explosion at New Zealand’s Pike River Mine in November, 2010.
Detective Superintendent Darryl Sweeney says this nationally important and distinctive investigation is legally advanced and police have been working alongside the Crown Solicitor Wellington for over 18 months.
