Uzbekistan reports sharp rise in trade with China

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 4. Uzbekistan’s
commerce turnover with China reached $14.6 billion from January
via November 2025, firmly consolidating China’s place because the
nation’s largest buying and selling accomplice.

In line with information obtained by Pattern from the Nationwide Statistics Committee,
bilateral commerce elevated from $11.2 billion over the identical interval
of 2024, reflecting a 30.4% year-on-year progress.

Throughout the reporting interval, Uzbekistan’s exports to China
amounted to $1.9 billion, whereas imports totaled $12.8 billion.

Uzbekistan’s overseas commerce relations proceed to diversify, with
the nation now sustaining commerce ties with 210 accomplice
nations.

China accounted for the most important share of Uzbekistan’s whole
overseas commerce at 20.1%, adopted by Russia (16.2%), Kazakhstan
(6.0%), Türkiye (3.7%), and the Republic of Korea (2.2%).
