A automotive rolled off coastal cliffs close to Kakanui in North Otago and crashed on to the seaside beneath after the driving force by accident left the automobile in gear this afternoon, police say.
An officer on the scene advised the Otago Each day Instances that an individual had pulled into the Bridge Level lookout, off Waianakarua Rd, close to Kakanui.
The motive force and sole occupant of the automobile obtained out, nevertheless had forgotten to take it out of substances.
It then tipped over the sting of the cliff and crashed down on to the seaside beneath, they stated.
A police spokesman stated emergency providers had been notified of the crash at 2.25pm.
