It was a difficult activity, however an esteemed panel of NewsBusters editors, led by MRC President David Bozell and MRC’s Vice President for Analysis and Publications Brent Baker, boiled down all of the biased outbursts from lefty hack hosts, anchors, reporters and pundits in 2025 and on December 17 introduced The Media Analysis Middle Award for Worst Quote of the 12 months.

So we broke down the Worst of 2025 into 5 extra classes (The Craziest Evaluation Award; The Trashing Trump Award; The Rattling These Conservatives Award; The ICE Breakers Award for Hating Trump’s Deportation Coverage; and the Celeb Freak-Outs Award).
