EXCLUSIVE: Intercourse/Life and Paradise star Sarah Shahi is becoming a member of indie function Highway to Restoration, written and directed by Scout Taylor-Compton, star of Rob Zombie’s Halloween films.
As we revealed, the drama stars Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Freddie Prinze Jr, Cameron Crovetti, Thomas Lennon, Marley Shelton, Tyler Mane and Cerina Vincent. Filming is underway in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pic follows a father and his terminally ailing daughter who embark on a cross-country journey to seek out the boy she loves. Alongside the way in which, the 2 are pressured to confront their shared grief and redefine what it means to carry on and let go.
Highway to Restoration is produced by Dauntless Productions, Tom O’Connell for Constructing Blocks Productions, Amy Covell for Pink Phoenix Productions, alongside co-producers Talia Bella and Randy Wayne for Rebellium Movies. It’s the first mission below Taylor-Compton’s new banner Constructing Blocks Productions.
Shahi, who presently stars in Emmy-nominated Hulu collection Paradise alongside Sterling Okay. Brown, is thought for Netflix collection Intercourse/Life, WB’s film Black Adam reverse Dwayne Johnson, and collection together with Metropolis On A Hill, Pretty Authorized, The L Phrase, Individual of Curiosity, and The Rookie.
