Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend has made only one change to his beginning line-up for Sunday’s Check in opposition to Argentina at Murrayfield.
Vice-captain Rory Darge, who got here off the bench in final weekend’s 25-17 defeat by New Zealand, begins at openside flanker instead of Matt Fagerson, who drops to the bench.
Talismanic stand-off Finn Russell has been handed match to maintain his place after being substituted with knee and ankle points within the closing levels final Saturday.
There’s nonetheless no place within the squad for influential prop Zander Fagerson, who has been working his manner again to full health after being sidelined since early April by a mix of calf and knee issues.
Joint-record try-scorer Duhan van der Merwe is called on the bench after being dropped from the squad solely final weekend, with Townsend reverting to a 5-3 break up after going 6-2 in opposition to the All Blacks. Lock Marshall Sykes drops out.
In the one different change to the bench, Nathan McBeth replaces fellow Glasgow prop Rory Sutherland, who misses out resulting from concussion.
