Watford have unveiled a special-edition package in honour of their most well-known supporter and former chairman, Sir Elton John.
Impressed by the paintings for his 2017 “Diamonds” best hits album, the shirt contains a faint star motif throughout the entrance, silver Watford crest and Kelme logos, and the membership’s retro Pleased Hornet badge on the hem.
The collar and cuffs carry extra star particulars, whereas the reverse is embossed with lyrics from one among his most iconic songs, “Your Music”.
The strip – designed in collaboration with Elton himself – shall be worn when the Hornets host Blackburn Rovers within the Championship.
It marks the start of celebrations for the fiftieth anniversary of the music legend changing into Watford chairman again in 1976, a job by which he oversaw the membership’s outstanding rise from the Fourth Division to the First.
