The joyful members of the Howick Girls’s Dinner Membership have celebrated its fiftieth anniversary with a festive social gathering on the Howick Membership.
The current celebration had a Nineteen Seventies theme with members invited to decorate up, so there was no scarcity of flares and disco glitz on present.
Membership treasurer Annette Good says: “It was a unbelievable night time with music supplied by Craig Hallen for all to get pleasure from, and a scrumptious meal delivered by the fantastic Bishop Catering.

“The Howick Girls’s Dinner Membership is a vibrant group of ladies who’ve come collectively to share concepts, forge friendships and be impressed.
“Based with the easy intention of offering younger wives and moms the chance to get pleasure from a dinner out, hearken to thought-provoking audio system and join with others, the membership has advanced over time.”
Good says its inaugural dinner, staged in 1975, was at Longview Lounge, which is now the Picton Centre.
“Numerous venues have been residence to the Dinner Membership although the a long time together with the Bucklands Seaside Yacht Membership, the Howick Bowling Membership and presently the Howick Membership.
