Police say a piece of Tāmaki Drive in Auckland can be closed for a short while on Tuesday, October 28, as a consequence of a deliberate hīkoi.
The seaward aspect of Tāmaki Drive (eastbound) can be closed between Ōkahu Bay and The Strand in Parnell from 11.45am till about 1.15pm.
“The partial highway closure is being put in place to make sure the security of all highway customers whereas the hīkoi takes place,” police say.
“Motorists are suggested to plan forward for any visitors delays and to contemplate taking various routes the place attainable.”
