Tajikistan’s private sector sees strong growth in early 2026

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, April 13. Within the first
two months of 2026, Tajikistan’s non-public sector output reached 1.3
billion somoni (roughly $136.3 million), reflecting a 16.1%
improve in comparison with the identical interval in 2025.

Information obtained by the Pattern from the State Statistical Committee reveals that
the non-public sector generated 773.1 million somoni (round $80.8
million) in February 2026, marking a 26.5% year-on-year development.

As compared, the expansion within the non-public sector for the
January-February interval of 2025 was 8.4% in comparison with 2024, whereas
February 2025 recorded a 4% improve.

Whole capital investments throughout all types of possession amounted
to three.5 billion somoni ($365.9 million) in January-February 2026, a
notable 33.2% rise in comparison with the identical interval in 2025.

In February 2026, capital investments reached 1.95 billion
somoni ($204.8 million), marking a 32.6% improve in comparison with
February 2025.

The information underscores the continued growth of financial
exercise, significantly within the non-public sector, in addition to an
accelerating tempo of capital funding within the nation.
