BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 1. 4 members of
Supreme Chief Ali Khamenei’s household had been reportedly killed in
airstrikes carried out by Israel and the USA, Development reviews, citing
Iranian media.
Among the many deceased are Khamenei’s daughter, his son-in-law, his
grandson, and one in all his daughters-in-law.
Following the second spherical of nuclear talks between Washington
and Tehran on February 17, which ended with out progress, the U.S.
elevated its presence in areas close to Iran, deploying over 150
plane to bases in Europe and the Center East.
The escalation follows the third spherical of nuclear talks between
Iran and the USA in Geneva on February 26. Held beneath the
administration of U.S. President Donald Trump, the negotiations
had been seen as a final alternative for a diplomatic decision.
Nonetheless, no agreements had been reached, as Tehran refused to halt
uranium enrichment, dismantle its nuclear services, or settle for
indefinite restrictions on its nuclear program. On the morning of
February 28, Israel and the U.S. started launching strikes on Iran
from land, sea, and air.
