ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 26. Kazakhstan’s
Samruk-Kazyna Fund and China Vitality have explored alternatives for
expanded cooperation within the power sector, Development experiences through
Samruk-Kazyna.
The discussions concerned Nurlan Zhakupov, head of the
Samruk-Kazyna, Lin Xiao Dan, CEO of China Vitality Abroad
Funding, and Xin Zuni, Vice President of China Vitality
Worldwide Group.
The events additionally reviewed the progress of present joint
tasks, together with a 300 MW solar energy plant within the Turkestan
area and a 500 MW wind energy venture within the Karaganda area.
Throughout COP 29 in November 2024 in Azerbaijan’s Baku,
Samruk-Vitality and China Vitality Abroad Funding signed a
memorandum for the joint growth of a renewable power venture
with a mixed capability of 800 MW. This features a 500 MW wind
farm in Karaganda and a 300 MW photo voltaic plant in Turkestan. The
settlement solidified the intentions of each side to advance
sustainable power in Kazakhstan. The completion of those tasks
is deliberate for 2028.
In December 2025, China Vitality initiated the development of the
300 MW solar energy plant in Turkestan, which is able to function an
