AFL premiership coach Mick Malthouse has suffered minor accidents whereas chasing away residence invaders from his house in Melbourne.
Malthouse, 72, who now commentates for ABC Sport, was reportedly in his house when two males entered about 12:30am on Thursday.
Malthouse reportedly chased the “group of males” into an alleyway, the place he was assaulted.
“Officers had been known as to the property following studies of a gaggle of males attempting to achieve entry about 12.30am,” a police assertion stated.
“A resident of the property chased the offenders to a close-by laneway, the place he was assaulted.
“The offenders fled on foot.”
