Adelaide 36ers participant Ben Griscti is in a steady situation after being injured when a backboard collapsed on prime of him.
A spokesperson for the membership confirmed stories that the 23-year-old was injured when a teammate’s dunk broke the backboard and introduced the construction down throughout a coaching session on Saturday afternoon.Â
The incident occurred on the AIS Enviornment in Canberra because the 36ers had been making ready to face the Tasmania JackJumpers within the pre-season NBL Blitz match.Â
CODE Sports activities reported that Griscti was taken to the hospital in an ambulance roughly two hours after the incident.

The NBL launched an announcement late on Saturday, saying Griscti was in a steady situation, and the scheduled matches within the pre-season competitors would proceed on Saturday night.
“The Nationwide Basketball League (NBL) is conscious of a coaching incident involving Adelaide 36ers’ participant, Benjamin Griscti at AIS Enviornment this afternoon,” it mentioned.
“Griscti is in a steady situation in hospital.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident can be investigated.
“The NBL advises that at present, Blitz video games scheduled for thirtieth August will proceed.”
